Description

My inspiration for this PCB was the corn keyboard, I liked how it looked other than the placement of components, and I didn't love how complex it was, I wanted something more simple. I then decided to take the layout and the outer edges of the board, and redo it completely otherwise, and I made these! They are reversible PCB's to lower cost for the average consumer, and compatible with the original cases if desired. The diode array isn't purely cosmetic, as it is still functional, but its layout is cosmetic! You need 46 SMD 1n4148 SOT123 diodes, 2 tours jacks, 2 reset buttons, 2 pro micros or replacements, and 36 cherry style switches of your choice for these PCB's. They also have a compatible case for both the 5 column and 6 column version of the PCB (turns into 5 columns when you snap off the leftmost column). My overall experience with ALLPCB has been amazing, they always deliver ahead of time or right on time, and the PCB's themselves have always been high quality! I do suggest using ALLPCB, they've been great to me! I love how they allow you to mix and match color combinations at a reasonable price point, this has allowed me to make my designs for my PCB's look great so many times! I will be building myself one of these keyboards soon actually, you can message me at @Glow#2411 on Discord if you want more information! I might share photos there once built, and I might sell these too! Good luck to everyone here! Also, I will be building this board with Gateron Fei Switches that are Lubed and filmed, they have been stem swapped to use Pheonix Clicky Stems! I will be using a white 3d printed case with white FR4 Plates for the case! The keycaps I will be using are PolyCaps Corn keycaps, they are sold by Kinetic Labs, who I do suggest buying from! I honestly dont know what to write anymore, so I will also be selling a board called 39.99% so please buy that when I will start the group but, it will have a delrin case in choices of black or white, and will come with black and white plates. It will use a USB C daughterboard from AI03, and I hope that the group buy will go well! Good luck once again, I hope the best or coolest pcb wins!
