A former Google engineer successfully DIY iPhone by himself! During the past one and a half years, he picked components in Shenzhen, China and assembled them into an iPhone 6S!
This engineer named as Scotty Allen has visited China for many times to this DIY program. At the beginning, he didn’t think he would make it but kept trying.
He greatly admires the craftsmanship of Apple: easy to repair and reuse.He is also very thankful about numerous people working here (Shenzhen) who have changed this kind of garbage back to such a perfect cell phone. After this experience,he had a deeper understanding of the Shenzhen mobile phone recycling system.
