Capacitors play an important role in high-speed PCB design and are the most used devices on PCB boards.Now we mainly introduce the filter capacitor.
In simple, in the filter circuit, filter capacitor ensures the stability of input and output power supply, we usually call the capacitance that input the power module and output circuit the filter capacitor. In the power module, the filter capacitor is placed as the principle of "small after big": as shown below, filter capacitor is placed by arrow: the small one is placed after big one.In power supply design, you should ensure that line width and copper should be wide enough, VIA numbers should be sufficient to ensure over-current capacity. Width and VIA numbers should be assessed according to current size.
