All drawings must follow industry-accepted standards of drafting. They should communicate the essential information quickly to readers unfamiliar with the contents of the document. recommended drafting practices include the following guidelines:
5 Essential Drafting Standards
The 0-0 point must be clearly marked.
Dimensioning arrows must not cross other dimensioning line.
Object views or details will be given captions, centered and underlined beneath the object or view.
Callouts will have reference arrows drawn at 45-degree angles.
