In order to make copper pour achieve desired effect, what issues should be paid attention?

I know the metal inside equipment must be good grounded, such as metal radiators, metal reinforcement, etc. Any else?

Do not copper on the open area of middle layers in multi-layer PCB,because it is hard to make copper well grounded.The heat block metal of three-terminal regulator must be well grounded.
